E-mail signoffs a minefield to navigate

Filed Under (Internet, Technology) by Susy on 04-12-2006

An interesting article from the NY Times about the difficulty of choosing the appropriate e-mail signoff. Apparently, “Best” appears cold to some people. Naturally, of course, this is my favorite e-mail signoff.

The problem, of course, is that e-mail etiquette is still in formation. The general consensus from the NY times article is that “Warmly,” “All the best,” and “Warmest regards” seem to be the safest to use with no signoff at all the worst breach of etiquette.

All I ask is to please give your name (I’m speaking to you students!)
